This is an unusual size but it fits well with my other caphalon pans. It is not too heavy just the right weight. Good for heating soups and sauces. Great quality for the money.

My wife turned me one to Calpalon a few years ago and have yet to have to replace them. I could not believe the price and decided to add an additional pot because we never seem to have enough. If you are looking for a good heavy duty pot this is the one for you.

It's an old fashioned, hard anodized Calphalon pan - the best kind. As far as performance goes, it's Calphalon - 'nough said. The only drawback is that the bottom indicates that it's now being made in China. Had I realized that, I probably would not have bought it. The performance, however, is up to Calphalon standards.

This pot is a handy size, it heats up quickly, and holds the heat evenly.

It's good looking, nicely built.
It needs gentle care. If you make scratch on surface, that part will rust.
SO, I guess I'm not gentle enough.
By the way, it'll be good idea to try reasonable piece like this before buying whole set of hard anodized cookware, if you can't decide whether you like the idea of hard anodized or not.
