I like this pan a lot. I purchased it with the steamers. It is well made, functions as intended, looks really good.

My mother had Revere cookware as I was growing up. Her pieces still look new. She purchased some for me when I got married and wanted to finish the set. Really enjoy cooking with it as well. Clean up is easy. The product is definitely reflects quality.

Had a similar saucepan for 40 years and recently burned the thing so needed to replace it. So glad that Revere still makes the 2 quart and my new one is a wonderful replacement. The new one will probably last for 40 years so will pass it on to the grandchildren.

The first one I had was given to my parents as a wedding gift (it was used daily as well as to warm my bottles) and was lost in a move when I was 37 (the pan was 42 and still in terrific shape). I've used other pans & pots and have never been totally happy. Considering the service the last pan gave me, I was looking forward to one that would outlast me (I'm 54 now). I remember what this excellent cookware was like and this pan falls short! It's made in Indonesia and the copper coating is thin, even but thin. The bottom is rough, in a large circular swirl where it looks like it was "evened off" or "made flat" as if an afterthought. While the thickness of the wall is pretty good, it isn't as thick as originally made, sort of like most if not all current denim. Also, the lid is a bit looser than previous since the taper of the lid lip has been increased to make it easier to cover, which also makes it easier for steam to escape rather than cook the food properly, the reason for the lid in the first place. While not big things separately, together, I'm not impressed. A name is supposed to mean something which is why you hunt for it and why, if you have one related to quality, you attempt to keep it that way. I guess I'm getting old and becoming another dinosaur that remembers the "Glory Days". Wish we still had some of the quality that made "Made in USA" mean something to the rest of the world, but that's business folks - and that's all!

I was so relieved to find my beloved Revere pans online....until I got them in the mail. I have owned Revere pans for 32 years and my youngest pans are 12 years old. I wanted to replace some of the oldest ones, but after seeing the poor quality of these new Revere pans, I am sending them back. When I compared them to the pans in my kitchen, the new ones were lighter weight, thinner handles, and flimsy connections from the handle to the pan. So disappointing. These are a bad buy.
