Pros:
Multipurpose - you can prep, store, and serve in these containers
Durable - I have dropped these on tile floors that they have not chipped or cracked
Microwavable - healthier than microwaving in plastic (I don't microwave with the lid on)
Can go in freezer
Contents are easily visible
Sanitary - easier to clean than plastic
Looks better than plastic - doesn't warp or discolor like plastic does
Cons:
Heavy
Hard to lift when hot because there are no handles and they are hard to grasp.

These were a gift to my sister since she is freaked out about using plastic tupperware and BPA...although I think she's also glad to have to do fewer dishes since she can microwave, serve and store food all in the same dish.

PYREX SET is durable and versatile. I store food in it, I feed my baby from the smallest cups, I even bake in it. It's much healthier than using plastic containers. I love it

This Pyrex Storage set is excellent in every sense. We wanted to get away from plastics and from odd shaped containers. We are so pleased that we intend to buy another set and replace some of our glass containers. We already moved out nearly all of our plastic storage.
The Pyrex stores easily in the cupboard and when put in the refrigerator is easy to organize. The clear glass allows us to see what is inside without removing the lid. The glass is a heavy gauge, sturdy construction and we have yet to break any of them.
The plastic lids are great and now we don't have to always get out the plastic wrap to cover leftovers that we store in the refrigerator.
In addition to getting another set for ourselves we are considering buying at least two more sets as Christmas gifts for family members.

I actually thought these were tuperware, but to my surprise they were glass! Still they are very nice at a great price and better than tuperware! Thank you!
