I bought a set of these pans and after 32 years the handle fell off of one of the pans. I can't believe how well these pans have held up. I ordered this pan to replace the one that broke and the old ones look almost a good as the new one. I have put these pans through all kinds of cooking disasters. I have burned one of the pans at one time and used oven cleaner on it to get it clean and it looks as good as new. I prefer this pan to my very expensive pans.

Since I bought this pot to only be used in the making of candy, how could I not list it as my favorite piece of cookware. With the classic cooper bottom, that reminds me of my mother's cook pots in which I learned the confectioner's arts, it becomes a quasi religious experience every time I use it. The cooper bottom also distributes the heat more evenly and efficiently.

I tried it twice, thinking that maybe I just got a bum pan the first time. When you put it on a gas stove, the copper bottom actually disintigrates. It is not the pan, it is the whole product line. One would think that a pan meant to go on the stove would actually not "melt." I'm actually surprised that Revereware puts this out. It is an embarrasment to the company.

My mother is 80 and her revere ware, the exact copy of what sells here is brand new and still the best cookware. My revere ware is still in perfect condition too! I am buying this for my daughter's first kitchen and it will last over 80 years also. No matter what is out there and I have tried many,(like to have lots of pots), you cannot buy a better product than Revere for stove cooking based on weight ease, no burn handles, and the copper cleans over and over for as long as you own it. Calphon, Kitchenaid etc. not as good as revere ware.
