For those of you who remember when Corningware was not just ceramic, this will come as a huge disappointment. This is very fragile, and prone to break at a moment's notice. Shipping is traumatic for these wimpy dishes, as are very minor encounters.
The concept is great, and if this were Mom's Corningware, it would be a deal.
Caveat emptor.

The product performs well. Had no real use for the two small items without lids. Perhaps a little "pricey" compared to a price I found after purchasing. Good variety included in set.

Product arrived well packaged and in top shape. Very complete set, very practical plastic lids. Does not seem as thick as other similar dishes we have but very adequate for cooking, baking and serving.

We got this set when we were married 18 years ago. A piece or two has broken over the years due to being dropped, but I've replaced them and in fact added to them. They are NOT fragile, though dropping them is not a good idea--they aren't plastic either!! I use them for storage, for serving (and they look so nice that I can use them for company), and for baking. I just couldn't be without them. I thought the set was a great gift 18 years ago and still do.

It's the best thing in bakeware. Much better than Pyrex for sure! It looks classy and elegant on the table and in the cabinet. It does a great job baking, serving, microwaving and storing. I ordered it to make lasagna for some guests over the weekend and it was just perfect. Though I was a bit concerned about putting the glass lid in the oven for the first 10 minutes to allow for the cheese to melt, it was no problem and the lid goes in the oven safely. The plastic covers also fit perfectly and are great for storing or freezing the smaller ones. I had also ordered the 17 piece set (with ramekins) for my mother and MIL and they loved it. You cannot go wrong with this buy!
